There were a lot of people in the studio responding to the art of Qinghua or more commonly known as Blue and White decoration. It was wonderful to see the artists creating the pieces and showing us how to get the depth of shades with the pigment. Qinghua is a tradition that was discovered around the Ming Dynasty by Jingdezhen artists and proliferated into the present by these same citizens.
